Hi,
I'm looking for someone in the UK who has a 16mm movie camera and can give me a brief one-to-one crash course on how they are used, just two or three hours. The reason for this is that I am embarking on a new film project which is to be shot using 16mm and I have no experience at all in this medium. While I have two experienced cameramen on board who will do the actual shooting, I would like to have a basic familiarity with how these cameras work and cannot afford the time asking them to familarise me as the shooting is to be done abroad in a very strict time frame.
I will come to you and pay a fee for your time plus any expenses that are incurred. As I will come right to you it will literally just take a couple of hours out of your day and I would be very grateful, plus it will be profitable for you. All I would want to know is how the cameras work, what their limitations are, how the film is loaded and unloaded and other basics like that.
Please email me at phantomdvds?yahoo.co.uk if you think you can help me out.
Regards,
Spaceman
