The deadline for HUB-BUB's Artists-in-Residence Program is less than a week away. Emerging filmmakers within the ages of 20-35 are welcome to apply. If you would like to help us spread the word, please forward this email to students, staff, or any other potentially interested parties.
About the Residency: Our residency is 6 months, from January through June, and includes free housing in large apartments with ample studio space, time to work, and a monthly stipend. The apartments and studios are located above the Showroom, HUB-BUB?s performance and gallery space. For the 2014 residency, there will be one position available for a filmmaker. The ideal candidate for this position is an experienced scriptwriter, actor, director, or videographer who is passionate about the role film can play in building a community. In addition to having time to develop their craft, the filmmaker-in-residence will have the opportunity to work with the Expecting Goodness Film Festival.

How to Apply: After you've set up your free CaFE account, included your artist statement, C.V., and answered all of the application questions, feel free to upload or include anything that you feel best represents you as an artist. The filmmaker position is just one of four residency positions we will be offering for 2014. We will also be inviting a theater artist and two visual artists, so we are particularly interested in artists interested in collaboration. Attached you will find a flyer that includes a further explanation of the program details and the ideal candidates for the residency.
