A humble suggestion.
This forum keeps getting inquiries of the same type, as in whether a newbie should major in film or go to film school. So I suggest we do a bunch of stickies to answer those questions, which are pretty routine.
Sounds like a good idea. Everyone should feel free to nominate threads which should be made sticky. Let one of the moderators, or myself, know and we'll make it so.

I have received a lot of help and encouragement here, so I've been trying to return the favor by posting information on business and the economy as it relates to film/tv, because I do have substantial knowledge in business and the economy. I'm doing my bit. ?:)?
I'm not much for making a sticky on one popular thread as opposed to another; I know other fora do it, but I'm thinking more along the lines of a "faq" post. Someone starts a post that has answers the faq's, and it becomes the sticky for that section. This way, noobs like me can read it and not ask the same questions again and again. Then, if the noobs still have question, they can post the questions AFTER having read the faq's.
As I write this, I'm thinking that people like to post questions without thinking or doing their reading, and, if the forum admins here act like nazis, they could drive people away, and that's not good. But I'm just throwing this idea out as a suggestion.
