I have been looking at these two cameras.
I know that they both offer 24p as well as true 16:9 shooting.
I was wondering, since there is such a significant price difference if anyone had any opinions regarding the two. There is over $1000 difference, and that certainly is a lot of money. Please let me know which one you would recommend, but more importantly... why.

the panasonic doesn't do a true 16X9
