What digital camcorder should I get. I want a camcorder that has the best video/audio quality. Out of these three, which one is the best when making independent films?
1. Canon Xl1
2. Vx1000
3. Canon Gl1
Out of those three, the XL1.
As much as I dislike that camera, I'm with Mark. Of the 3 you list I'd go with the XL1 also.

your right the xl1 is the better of that list but just for fun check out the panasonic ag dvc line befor you buy

I've read a little on the new panasonic DV100A, has anyone here used this Camera or have any experiance with it. I'm thinking about renting it for up coming projects. I've used the xL1 in the past, I like using the camera. This is my first post on this site. I'm always open for disscussion. Talk with you later.
