i hope someone can help me? I was just wondering what the diference is between 24fps and 25fps? Also, i'm based in the UK. Does that mean i need buy filmstock from the UK? Is there pal and ntsc differences with film like there is with video?

The difference is 1 frame per second...
No. Film stock is the same all over the world - PAL, SECAM, NTSC are stricly video.
