I need to find a sound sensetive lighting system that will be featured in a key scene of my film.what I mean by sound sensitive is, music,I need it to respond to notes with different colors.I dont know of this even exists,maybe for light shows at concerts?

Any help would be appreciated

Laser light shows are carefully coreographed by hand. Manually. By the person.

So assuming you could get your hands on a switchboard or some kind of control for that, depending on what you are doing, you would have to either use the software the light show programmers use (not sure what) that records the light movements and pulses and plays them back in real time, or you'd have to wing it.

Go on down to a music store and rent a light stand with 4 lights atop of it, this rental will also come with a switch board used to turn on and off the lights you select.
The rental itself isnt too bad, my band did it for a concert we played and i think the rentalk was about $60 CDN for the weekend.

The easiest way is to hire yourself a basic lighting board and have your lights with a DMX channel.

You can then do what ever you like (dim, on/off, chase sequence, etc).
