Watched this on DVD last night and thoroughly enjoyed it. Does anybody know if it was shot on HD or DV and what the budget was?

DV and around 60,000 pounds I believe. I saw it years ago at a film festival, and I think that's what the director said.

Wow, it just goes to show what can be done with a good idea, writing and actors.

Yeah, if you have a good concept that mostly involves acting rather than effects or fancy props or locations, then you can do something quite impressive with very little money.

Of course you do need decent actors :).

Well just look at John Couette's TARNATION.

The director of THE LAST HORROR MOVIE has released another film on DVD called SUMMER SCARS and it also stars Kevin Howarth who played the killer in TLHM.

Could be worth a spin...

It had a limited cinema release in the UK, but I believe that mostly it was distributed on DVD.

Which is odd in both senses, as it was clearly intended to be released on VHS.
