dear friends,
i wanted to purchase a HD camera which one should i opt for SONY HDV Z1 OR CANON XLH1...please guide me

XLH1 is higher resolution, has interchangeable lenses and has SDI out if you can capture direct from the camera to disk. But it's also a couple of thousand dollars more expensive.
So it all depends on what you want.
Edit: Oh, and the Z1 can shoot both PAL and NTSC, which the XLH1 can't as far as I'm aware. That's one important issue to a fair number of users.
