Hi:

I am a film student and I am hired as a second AC in one of the indie production. One of my duty on the set is clapping (Slate). I was told that smart slate will be used for clapping and 2nd AC/sound recordist must jam-sync the Time Code everytime before the shoot. I haven't used smart slate before. I googled for smart slate tutorial and I couldn't find any. Can someone please direct me to any links that talk about smart slate? The Shoot is in one week and I would like to know something about smart slate before the shoot.
