I need to shoot a slow motion sequence, and I'm wondering should I shoot in 24p or 30p. My project is a 24p project, but to achieve smoother shots should I amp the frame rate? Will my slowed 30p sequence look good in a 24p picture? I'm using a Panasonic AG-DVX100, thank you for your help.

Ideally if you want to work in 24p you would shoot 48p for 1/2 speed. I'd imagine that the DVX doesn't do 48p. Still, 60p would be better for slowmo.
I agree with Dave, if you ever get a hold of an HVX200, try this site: http://www.studiodaily.com/studiomonthly/tutorials/trainup/5993.html
I'm not sure about the dvx100 though, I'm almost sure it has a 60i option though, does it? If that's the case, try 60i.
