Hi,
is it true that shooting in the hours before sunset produces brilliant images, for example making the actors look even better?
Why is this and has anyone ever setup such shots?

They call that the "golden hour" Supposedly it does produce very vibrant images. I dont know why and I have as yet to try it.

i've done it, and I'd have to say it's one of the best lighting sources I've ever used. The color is a red/ orange, and it produces a very warm tone.
It's great! Plus, it makes your camera look like a Panaflex. Evening shooting is definitely a good idea, in my minds eye.
