Shooting a Car in a Studio

I'm filming a short in two weeks, and because of complications with our actors schedules (one of them is finishing a stage production on the first night of shooting) we have to cover a brief night car scene during the day, inside of a studio.

My question is, how should I go about doing this? The only thing I can think of is going to a junk yard and somehow getting a dash and steering wheel of a car and lugging it into the studio.

Here's the look I'm trying to recreate. Any ideas would be welcome!

How about dragging a stinger into the parking lot of
the studio, hooking up three lights and using one of
the cars parked out there?
