?:D? Hello filmmakers.

Im a film maker from Toronto, Canada. Im writing, editing and directing a short-film and need some help. I have a scene where the actor is repairing a electric motor inside the boiler room. In the film the man is electrocuted, i was hoping some one could help me, i cant think of a way to create a fake "shock of electricity", then after i want a small amount of smoke to rise. Thank you very much for your help.

How big a shock?

The actor could be yanked backwards by a cable. So they land on a pad. If this is done with an electrical sizzle sound and a look of shock... Then a bit of smoke (a hidden cigarette or incense) at the motor. Possibly these could be one shot or two.

Then a shot of the actor on the ground with trembling hands and slightly poofed hair. With the pad and yanking cable removed.

If that still isn't enough you could digitally add a slight bit of electricity to sell it.
