SFX I'm trying to create a glowing effect of actor on screen. I own a HVX and shooting a low-budget indie film. I want to create that blue glow-like effect to set the actor apart from the other regular effect actor.

I thought about spray misting the actor with fluorescent paint and fim under a black light. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Thanks a bunch

Welcome to filmmaking.net, Rob.

Is this something you need to do on the set - on camera?
Or are you open to do this in post production - in your
editing software?

Frankly I love the idea of fluorescent paint and black light.
I'd love to see an experiment with that method. You should
try it and post the results. Good or bad, it wold help you
and other fellow filmmakers to see the results.
