I have just been signed on as a DIT for a movie being shot completely in RED and have never worked with RED Workflow before. I have shot in RED and used to be an editor so that's the only reason why I am the DIT. After having downloaded the new REDCINE 346 software and installed the RED plug-in for Final Cut Studio, I realized how intimidating the interface is and yet how many attributes it has to an unbelievably manipulative level.
I was wondering if anyone had any stock RED footage or knows of where I could download some to start practicing before I get the real footage to work on.
Also, does anyone who has worked with RED workflow have any advice or warnings for me?

Yikes!
I've shot with the RED twice - as the operator. I was
so glad we had an experienced DIT on set because
I, too, found the interface intimidating. Sorry I can't
help, but I wish you good luck. Come back and tell
me how it went.
