We shoot on miniDV cameras, and I often run some wireless mics or perimeter mics into a mixer and into one camera to capture it...but this is getting tiring.

Is there any other option (other than buying a really expensive Zoom H4) for capturing my audio to? That way one of my cameras won't be tied up by having a long audio cable going into it.

Are any of the little voice recorders they have at Ciruit City good enough for this purpose? (assuming I'm using good microphones with it)
