Hello all,

I was wondering if it is possible to buy different lenses for a DV camera? if so please list any sites - or prices.

It depends upon the type of dv camera actually. Go to eBay and do a search under the type of camera + lens and you are likely to get a listing of the possible lenses.

theres a wide angle conversion lens at bestbuy thats suposed to fit all cameras of a certain type, its only like $30 so it probally only expands the view to what profesional cameras get with a normal lens, so it might be a good thing to buy and just leave on there.

Check a little closer on what that lens does. I suggest you head down a Best Buy and ask for a demonstration. A wide angle lens doesn't expand the view to what professional cameras get with a normal lens.

However, if you actually see that adaptor in use and it gives you the look you want, then it's thirty bucks well spent.

There are very few consumer level DV cameras that feature removable lenses.
