I currently go to the University of North Texas and I am a Film Major. Me and a couple of my friends were thinking about going in on a nice camera to shoot some short films, music videos, and other miscellaneous work that we get and look for as film students trying to build a quality portfolio. I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions on what types of equipment we should look at, specifically cameras.

Thanks!
