Ok, one more time. I am looking at all these options I have, and for a little less than the Panasonic AG-DVX100B, I can get the Panasonic Pro AG-DVC20 3CCD MiniDV Proline Camcorder w/10x Optical Zoom(lol). The major differences I have noted so far are that it has 1/6" 3CCD as compared to the 1/4" 3CCD's that the Panasonic AG-DVX100B. I'm not sure that this will be that much of a problem. Anyway, before I buy I am trying to test drive both of these for myself. However, of somewhat greater import, is the fact that I believe the AG-DVX100B has XLR audio inputs, whereas the Panasonic Pro AG-DVC20 3CCD MiniDV Proline Camcorder w/10x Optical Zoom has 1/4" jacks. Will the price difference be lost if I have to put an XLR converter on(where I am getting it the price difference is $70), and will this be a big deal due to poor audio quality, etc. I am going to use it for videography, i.e. weddings, basketball games(definetly) etc. The movie-making is also something to consider though. And I have heard good things about the CineGamma on the AG-DVX100B being similiar to film quality. All in all,I would pay the $70 difference, except that the Panasonic Pro AG-DVC20 3CCD MiniDV Proline Camcorder w/10x Optical Zoom is shoulder mounted. That makes it easier to use, and much more proffesional looking. And whether people care to admit it or not, looking proffessional will get you more gigs. So are the slight audio and visual quality differences big enough to facilitate me getting the AG-DVX100B?
