Ok...first off, I'd like to say this is great forum for aspiring film makers!! as i plan my film, am sure gonna need a lot of help ard here lol.

I've read some stuff on natural lighting in this forum but I'd like to ask the question again. Can I shoot using only natural light and using a couple of reflectors in day light. ?using a mini dv?

secondly for night shots there was a suggestion to use blue gel...can i know what it is? also, how can one shoot night shots without artificial lighting? will the entire screen have a yellowish hue or something?
