Hi,

I just bought a Telex wireless microphone second hand off ebay. In short it doesn't work properly...when you blow into the microphone the receiver picks up a very strong signal but when you speak normally into the microphone it doesn't pick up any signal (or if when it does...it's the smallest signal possible)...what should I do?

How can I fix the microphone?

If I connect the reciver to an amp and turn the volume right up it does pick up voices...but it has to be turned right up.

Does anyone have any CHEAP mobile amplification advice or any suggestons as to why the microphone works without amplification when blowing into it but not when speaking normally and if so how to fix it?
