i need to find a way to make 16 year olds look like they are 18-20. is this possible? im making a war movie so i was going to make everyones face dirty which might help a little

I'm not sure what the difference is :). If you'd said making 16 look 60 that would have been obvious, but I'm not sure how to tell a 16 year old from an 18-20 year old.
To be honest, I doubt there was much difference in WWII either: the psychological effects of combat would probably be the main difference between new recruits and older soldiers.

When they shot Apocolypse Now Lawrance Fishburn was 14 or 15.
There were also a number of folks who lied about their age to get into WW2. That could be a story element.
