Does anybody out there know a good website to buy cheap fake M-16s like you see the security guards carrying on the Matrix? Or does anybody know a good method of making realistic M-16s? They don't have to be very detailed, just cheap. Thanks!

Peter Jackson used to make guns from metal pipe and bits of wood: the ones in 'Bad Taste' were very convincing.
Cheapest alternative is probably Airsoft. Battle Orders has an airsoft M4 carbine for 95 pounds:

If you do use replica guns in the UK, do be sure to tell the police beforehand if you're going to be doing it where hoplophobic passers-by might see you. It's not so long ago that some guy was shot dead by the cops just because he had a piece of wood in a carrier bag, let alone a fairly realistic-looking M-16.

You'd have to check with the company, but the site says they're full size.
