I need some help with my lighting. This clip isn't "too" bad but I feel it needs some work.

Here it is...
?url? http://vids.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=vids.individual&videoid=971133878&n=2?/url?

Any tips on how to light the scenes a little better?

Thanks,

Mike

When I pull up the link I get a single picture instead of a video. Its hard to tell from a single picture. I think Flash is either broken or not entirely compatible with Solaris. Sorry.

The other problem you might be having is lighting can be very subjective and variable depending upon the movie and scene.

Do you hit the arrow in the middle of the picture?
That starts the clip.

No arrow showed up when I pull up the page. Usually I get a update to a new version of Flash or something screen but this time I didn't. Usually I avoid video at work as the audio can get one in trouble. When I do though I've noticed Solaris can be funky so it is more likely my OS than your link so don't worry about it. Still it goes to show a lack of response can come from a million things, its not you.

Mike,

I've seen the video and I would say use some high wattage bulbs, 250 or go even as high as 600 with some blue gels. I think you will see the difference.

Thanks, I've added clips to the main page of this space. ?url? http://www.myspace.com/the_subject?/url?
Everyone should be able to see them and offer their advice.

I'll looking into getting some cheap lighting equipment.

Thanks again and keep the tips coming,

Mike
