light meter question

if my light meter says its bright enough is it 100 percent bright enough? i wont have playback because i am shooting on 16mm.

also, what iso would u recommend for shooting in times square at night?

The light meter doesn?t tell you if it?s bright enough. the light
meter tells you what f-stop to use based on the ASA of the film,
the shutter speed and the light used.

my light meter is digital. i select my f stop and shutter speed and the arrow goes up or down a scale of 10 ...-5 -4 -3 -2 -1 0 1 2 3 4 5
o being perfect camera settings for the amount of light.
