Hey, this question is to anyone who has used the JVC HD100U. In my hours of reading, I have come across a couple of items that talk about a 'split screen' effect, where one half of the screen might be a step or two brighter than the other half. Even the JVC website mentions it. Just curious if this is a rare occurrence. Has anyone experienced this, and if so, is it difficult to fix?

I own the HD100U and have never had a problem. I understand it occasionally occurred in the first few models that were shipped but it's no longer an issue.

Okay, that takes a load off my mind. I would hate to spend 6 or 7000 on a camera and want to smash it against a wall soon afterward.
