Looks like not too many of us are using that excellent camera.

For some reason Canon is more popular. I wonder if a Canon thread would get more relpies....

Perhaps not a lot of users of that particular camera on this forum. You might try a search. I know the Panasonic camera I have had a forum dedicated to the quirks of that particular model and brand. I'm sure someone has set up one for your camera as well.

Not really anything specific just looking for someone to share tips and ideals. At this time I am trying to gain a better understanding of the more in-depth settings and camera capabilities.

Check out the www.dvinfo.net website. They have a JVC camera section. I don't mean to chase you away from this great site, but for cameras that site is a great technical site. Please come back though.
