Can I shoot TV broadcast-quality documentary footage on a VX2000?

Well, the BBC certainly shoot a lot of footage on PD170s, which are basically VX2000s with a few bells and whistles.

Three CCD?s don?t make a camera broadcast quality.

All the tech specs are confusing and the VX2000 is a fine camera, but it doesn?t sample at 4:2:2. Very few people will be able to tell the difference. Professionals in the business can.
