I'm currently working on a short film and need to do some gunshot effects and I'd like to use CO2 cartridges for the splatters etc.

Does anyone know how this would work or where I could find out how to make these???

Could you be more specific as to effect you are looking for? A generic term like "splatters" makes it difficult to visualize what you are trying to do.

Be more specific and I am confident people will be able to either help you or point in the right direction.

What I want is to be able to shoot someone say under the chin and have blood splatter out behind her head. I'd like the gunshot victim to be able to trigger the gunshot.

Is there any kind of rig I can make that attaches to the person and uses CO2?

If nothing comes to mind using CO2 cartridges I'm open to any suggestions anyone might have. HELP!

Why are you so specific about CO2? There are ways to do this with pesticide sprayers that are easier.
