Hi, I'm about to use green screen for the first time and I was wondering if you guys have any tips on the subject, Like should I buy Green fabric (And if so which kind) and spread it on my wall, Or maybe just paint one of my walls green. How do I light it right to get the best results (How much light do I need) And more.
Please share your wisdom!
Thank you,
Tom
Well i found out that a holiday green fabric is the best color. You could paint a wall with holiday green spray paint, but make sure its drywall or something that is totally smooth. Have fun!?8D?

I have used Green Screen before. What you are going to have to do is (even if you paint it, or use fabric) you are going to have to light it properly.
you have to back light your subject, to help wash out any green back bounce on your subject. For a successful Green Screen your going to need at least 4 lights. Two for the front, slightly off center to help light the sides of your subject, a light to put behind your subject and infront of your green object to light the green wall so that you have a solid green, not brighter areas and darker splotches from shadwos. The last light is a back over heaad, to wash out any green light bouncing back off the wall onto your subject.
GOOD LUCK!! Green Screen and Chroma Screen is fun!

I might be 18, but watch out, everyone has to start somewhere. I'm just starting a bit faster and bigger. 🙂
