o ok, wat is s video?

well, it's really good videotape. not film.
in order to make your GL1 look like film, you could probably add a bunch of filters in post. i've never used it, but people have said good things about 'magic bullet' software. i'm unfamiliar with mac software, but there may be other stuff there too.
the ghetto way of doing it is by covering the lense with pantyhose.

ok.
first im not talkin about the show itself, im talking about the sketchs filmed prior and aired on the show, i kno its not s video i was wondering if anyone had heard wat it was
as far as magic bullet, ive heard of it and it is good
hows the pantyhose trick work

the pantyhose trick has been described in depth somewhere on the board. you could run a search on it...
as for the pre-filmed stuff... it might be done on '16 MM' film, as some TV shows are done that way, such as Malcolm in the Middle, or Smallville.

ok guys
so i downloaded this magic bullet software demo
it its a fcp pluggin so it takes about 10 min to render 5 sec of video, bs man im pretty pissed. im sticking to my old method, when PERFECT lighting and frame mode on the camera makes the footage look nice
any more options?
