hello, i would just like to know:
what is a VTR?
what does it do?
does it allow me to do things that i cannot do with only my computer?
why would i spend upwards of $1000 on one of those small VTR's with an LCD screen for the field? (with that money i could even buy another camera)
i really dont know anything on this subject, so please... any help would be appreciated.

VTR = video tape recorder. It's just the pro version of a VCR.
