I have to do a scene where a person has hit a duck with a small car(yes I know, unusual) and the question I have is, will the Karo syrup recipe for fake blood stain or ruin the paint job on the car? I'm going to stick small white feathers in it so I don't actually have to find a real duck and film a seen where the duck, or stuffed replacement is getting hit.

I can NOT damage the donor's car. He needs it back XD

The red food coloring can stain, but it's not permanent.

Two tricks: add a bit of liquid dishwashing soap to the mixture. I use
"Dawn" because it's blue. And have someone standing by with hot
water and sponges. As soon as you say cut, wash off the blood with
the hot water.
