I'm curious as to my fellow filmmaking.net forum goers' thoughts regarding the Macbeth Color Checker for use in shooting DV.
I purchased the color checker today, and at a price of $65, I want to be sure it's worth the investment before taking the plastic wrap off.
Is the color checker a good addition to a DV 'arsenal'? Does anyone use a color checker when shooting DV or when filming? Are there any other suggestions/recommendations?
Thanks!
I'm not even sure what it is, to be honest :).
I use it on every shoot. I have a small seperation guide from Kodak mounted on my slate. It helps balance each shot.
