Hi

Just got the cannon xl2 last week, i been reading and watching videos about it, I need to film a green screen shot Monday,
it will be in my garage the lighting is pretty good, my question is what is the best setting for that shoot..
Would you use 30p- shutter 1/120, if someone can give me some basic settings for a nice clear soot that would be great..

thank you

Does the XL2 shoot 30p?

where do i begin ? i have started shooting just the way camera came
(standard settings) , not playing with any settings
my question is for some one like me, where should i begin to look for
information to change settings to get the best picture out of my camera,
i can shoot in any mode i want.. i know XL2 can do much better then the
standard AUTO setting.... what setting do i change...?

You'll want to keep the side dial on M. The main things you'll want to take a look at are focus, white balance (this will mostly be ok on auto), iris, gain and aspect ratio, which is in the menu.

After that, it depends where you're shooting and what if you want to mess with settings.
