Hi all
I'm doing some research into the technology of old Bollywood films and have been trying to find out the brand and model numbers of film cameras used in India. I'm looking for anything pre digital, preferably from the 1930s onwards.
Are there any film history boffins out there that might be able to help me? Or any Bollywood freaks? Or can anyone suggest somewhere I could look for more info?

if u have orkut than post ur msg on indian communities..thats a better option.or may be u can search some topclass filmmaking uni and academies in india and email them they wll reply u

no it's research for an exhibition I am working on. We want to display some film cameras that are contemporary with film posters we have. But I don't know the types of cameras used and I haven't been able to find any published info.
I looked at film school websites thinking I could write - but there was a general email address. Perhaps I should try anyway??
