I have a JVC GR-D60EK. The quality of the camera is amazing and everything I shoot looks really good, but as soon as i try to upload it onto my computer it comes out pixelated. I've been using Sony Vagas and I've looked through all the settings on the programme but nothing seems to work, i've tried changing programme to Adobe Premiere and even at one point resulted to trying Windows Movie Maker (I know.. but i had to try something) but no matter what it comes out really rubbish.

Has this happened to anyone else? Is it a problem with my camera or is it something else? SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME!!! I DONT WANNA BY A BRAND NEW CAMERA, I LOVE MY CAMERA!!! ?:(??:(??:(?

Some things you might want to consider.

Look at the format you use to capture into your program AVI, MPEG etc, this may have something to do with the appearance of your film on your monitor.

Does it look like rubbish after you have rendered? Some programs look like rubbish unitl you render. Edit a short clip and render it and see what the out come is.

Also, see if you can find the Sony Vegas user forum, some one there may have the same camera as you and might give you some tips.

Learn how to do something new everyday!

Yeah is it the render which looks bad? Or just the preview screen? You can scale the quality of the instant preview screen on vegas, from draft (which is poor, pixelated, but fast to render) to Best.
