Is there a relitavly cheap program where one could transform blue screen into something else, like in the movies?
Also, where could it be possible to get some of the blue screen materials? And could anything blue work? Like a blue sheet hung on the wall?
Senior year of highschool in one of the rooms, I used strips of bright green construction paper (you want to do this too, its easier to change)to make a green screen. It works but you can still see some of the lines where different strips connect. If you do a careful job laying it out it could be reasonable. Recently i've worked with a real green screen though and they are alot better. They aren't expensive either, its like $80 for a 20' x 15' one.
I don't know if they are in the USA market, but Roscoe sell a green paint specifically for video screens. They may also do blue, I just happened to notice some tins of green in the workshop.
Good luck.
Wal*Mart sells electric lime paint that is the perfect color for greenscreens. I think I read about it on this forum and it worked fairly nicely assuming the lighting is right and all.

I think that even one of the Ulead Video Studio softwares comes with a free green screen and chroma key editor... The green screen is relatively small, but for one person it's okay.
