AIRPLANE!!!! HELP!!!!!!!

I live in KY and 60 days from a feature production, I am in DESPERATE NEED of an airplane (passenger style, like Delta or Southwest) for about 4 days shooting.

We can use any of the following (as we only need interior cabin for shots):

1) a real plane, down for repair or decommissioned,

2)a mockup set,

3)a 727 100QC passenger module,

4)a hunk of fuselage.

The mockup sets out of LA are cost prohibitive, due to the distance.

Any ideas, leads or blueprints would be MOST appreciated!!!!!!!!!!!

Contact the Kentucky Film Office and see what they can come up with.

Find out if you have a local airline that overnights their planes at an airport near you. I was able to get an airline to give me the use of the plane in return for a thank you credit but I had to pay for the airport security people to work OT. It meant two long night shoots for me but actually worked better in the end as I was able to control the light coming in the windows i.e. have a grip push a light around to give the illusion of the plane turning. Good luck.

I just realized that you said that CA was cost prohibitive. Not sure if you've already looked into them to see if they can accommodate your budget.
