I just finished a 93 page feature. My question is: how do I find someone to make it? I really want it to be made by an established independent filmmaker or I would like to send it to an independent production company that can attach directors, talent, etc and put it in festivals. Does anyone know if there is some sort of directory of independent production companies that are seeking scripts?
The good news is all production companies are seeking scripts. It's how they stay in business. The bad news is there are more writers with scripts than there are prodCo's who can make them. My very small prodCo gets over 30 submissions a week. The bigger and more established independent filmmakers or prodCo's get as many as 100 to 200 scripts a week sent to them.
A great resource is the Hollywood Creative Directory http://www.hcdonline.com/

The better news is that 99% of the scripts I see are a long way from being ready to shoot, if they have any potential at all. So if yours is well-written from a good idea, you're ahead of almost all the competition.
