Is the movie title "An Unexpected Visit" taken already?

Help would be appreciated.

When the script writing is done, the work has just begun. When the filming is done, the work has just begun. When post-production is done, the work has just begun. When the distribution is done, you decide if the work is done.

A great resource is The Internet Movie Database. Check there.

It is not unheard of to have two movies with the same title. For example:

Jack Frost = (1998) Comedy where a loving father is turned into a snowman.
Jack Frost = (1996) Horror movie where a psycho gets turned into a snowman.

There are also some older movies using the same name.

I don't remember any issues over both having the same name and basic premise.

Yes, but it certainly hacked me off when I sat down to watch a horror movie about a psychotic snowman - only to find that it was one of those awful, loving, family films. Vamos!
