I cannot imagine this being funny.
Ourkid's suggestion could make the movie watchable.

before you were relying on JUST your dialogue to be funny in and of itself. if you use the 'preppy-upper-class' guy getting stoned route, it works on more levels.

for example, the predator story/mythology, etc... in and of itself might not be funny. but, if you have the stoner guy telling a straight-laced preppy the story, and the preppy starts finding it funny, it works on an additional level because it shows what pot does to a person...
