Alright ladies and gents, time for some fun around here. I'm gonna name a subject, and I ask that I please get full participation, here's the subject: worst mishap of one of your movies whether it be before, during, or after the movie was shot. I'll go first, during this year's spring break, we were supposed to shoot this movie we had been planning for months, it was going to be shot on a tuesday of spring break. We had called the cast the day before to make sure everyone was gonna be there, so the morning of shooting, I wake up early and go to the primary shooting location to set up the equipment and everything. well that morning, we had called the cast to make sure everything was cool, and everything was, except for one thing, we hadn't heard from our star yet, so when the director called him, we find out that his dog was killed by another dog and we had to cancel for that day(for god's sake don't ask). so after that, we rescheduled for that friday to shoot, once again, the shooting day rolls around and I go to the shooting location and set up and everything, but one problem, none of the cast will answer when we call them, when we called over to one of the main characters house, his mother answered the phone and told us that he went to a friends house, when we call over there, turns out that he went to a neighbor's house from his friends house, so naturally the director and I were royaly pissed??:)?. that monday when spring break was over, we found out from this guy that he went to the mall with the star of the movie?xx(?......ironic ain't it? ok, i've shared mine, let's hear some of yours.?8D?

i was editing a short that was due for a film festival in a few days. the night before the festival, there was a lighting storm and a huge power surge hit my apartment building. everything seemed fine at first, but it turned out that the power surge ruined one of the components of my digital camera: the firewire imput. so i couldn't get the computer to input, or output anything from the camera, and so i couldn't get the movie in on time after weeks and weeks of work. one of the most discouraging things ever.
