Does anybody know how to do slow motion in dv? also Im planning shoot my movie in widescreen. How do I do it? I have a widescreen feature in my camera, but that somehow doesnt cut it.
Some one suggested using a wide angle lens with cardboard on top and bottom?????????????
How the hell do you do that?
Do both your slow-mo and "wide-screen" in post using your favourite NLE or FX program. Programs like Final Cut, Premiere, and After FX all have speed effects, and they will also allow you to letterbox your 4:3 picture to create the wide-screen illusion.

If your camera allows u to shoot in 16:9 mode, final cut pro can put that into widescreen format after u import it. I dont know if any other programs do that, i wouldnt be surprised tho. And slow motion is the easiest thing to do as long as u get some editing material. Just becareful to not overuse sowmotion.
