What is the best way for me (other than writing it myself) to obtain a script for a short film? Specifically a script for a short (5-15 minutes) romantic drama or romantic comedy. I am just getting into filmmaking, have written five short 5 page scripts but they tend to be along the lines more of thriller, dark drama, horror, scifi. I would like to direct and produce a short romantic drama/comedy, would like to find a script to use. Either cheap or free in exchange for credits. Are there websites to hook up indie filmmakers with short script writers? Should I post an ad here in the Services Wanted forum? With all the writers looking for work and bylines, one would think there would be a way to pair up beginning writers with indie filmmakers.

Nice-- I discovered http://www.hollywoodlitsales.com/cf/specsubmit/index.cfm and http://inktip.com just what I was looking for. Now I guess the question deepens as to what should I expect to offer or pay to the writer for a 5 minute short, or a 15 minute short that I find and that I like?
