Herein lies a shameless plug for my website, where I am trying a new project, called "You Explode Filmmaking." It's essentially a way to get filmmakers collaborating over the internet to shape and direct a short film production. Its success or failure rests in how many people get involved, and I'd love it if you'd visit and check it out:

The general idea is that people commenting on my blog come up with a concept, vote on it, write a script, cast the film and choose locations, then I shoot it and readers are similarly involved in the postproduction process. The first step is to find a premise, genre, and production concept. The comments are now open and I'll be taking submissions for a week, after which they'll be voted on and one will be chosen.

Hopefully this will be a completely unique experience for everyone involved, and it may even result in a good end product.
