I work with a music scoring company. I met someone with good financial backing and they want me to to put togeother an entire plan to do a movie eg. scriptwriter, producer, entertainment attorney, and so forths. My questions are that I really doonot understand just how to get things started. I know that I need to do a contract but that will take a while and the person is ready to get the balling rolling right now. I've heard of a Deal Memo- is that good enough to bind us until I get the contract completed allowing me to get start up monies and hire a scriptwriter ? Also should I have the entertainment attorney present at all meetings between the financier and I ? If someone would be so kind to assist me in to which way to go I would be most greatful.?V?
