How does the screenwriter know how long to make the script? how does the screenwriter know the hours that the script will be in the movie? say you want to 2 hour movie, how will you know when you have reached 2 hours cinema wise?

Generally one page of script is 1minuite long. Its slightly longer than this for heavily dramatic things and slightly shorter for fast-pased things like comedies. Dont worry about the length of you script to-the-minuite, you can always edit out/in scenes later if its too long or the pase is a bit to slow/fast.
