I looked at your website. What exactly is this story about, childbirth? I'm not getting it.

I don't wish to sound rude, but your proposal seems to be geared up around the intent of filming a 'real birth'. There is no film here, no script to be written. Hospitals do allow men to film their partners giving birth - maybe that's the better, cheaper and less biblically offensive option?

I'm not sure I see the audience for this. A lot of things are not shown in movies because they are fairly common place or make people feel uncomfortable. Why would an audience want to watch a real birth?

Also this means, from a practical point of view, you're gonna have a pretty uncomfortable and less than sanitary setup for the mother/actor. Cameramen, sound, lights, farm animals.

One other thing: Speaking as someone who is about to become a Dad very soon, how is all of this going to be practical i.e. What if there are complications with the birth, and more to the point, what if the baby is a girl?

i agree with the above posts... i mean why would we wont to see this? don't get me wrong it has nothing to do with mary or jesus but it seems like a strange thing to make a movie about, the ACTUAL childbirth?

also: you descibe this as a "high-budget"film. is this independent, or who do you have the backing of? or is this just your vision?
